DANCER
OF THE MONTH:
William
Lu earned a B.F.A. in Dance Performance at Chapman
University. He has studied and worked with several renowned
choreographers/teachers such as Doug Varone, Robert Battle, David
Parsons, Sean Greene, Amy Bates and Tiffany Billings. His recent
credits include the Nutcracker ballet with the Orange County Regional
Ballet and Jenny Backhaus' "Disintegration" at the National
ACDF at the Kennedy Center. William is also an established
teacher-choreographer. He has been a guest teacher at the Golden
State Ballet Summer Intensive, Madrona Dance Studio of the Spectrum
Dance Theatre, and several dance studios in California.
